UPSC Civil Exam Notification 2013
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published exam notification of Civil Services and Indian Forest Service. This year UPSC had done many changes in the scheme of Civil Services exams. The exam will be in two stages one are the Preliminary – Prelims and the other is Mains examination.
UPSC Civil Services 2013 New Pattern of Examination:
1.Preliminary Examination will consist of two papers of objective type (multiple choice questions) and carry a maximum of 400 marks (200 each).
2.Mains Exam will consist of seven (7) question papers (essay type) with 1800 marks (including optional subject).
3.Interview: Selected candidates from mains exam will be called for personal Interview of 275 marks.
The application procedure for both examinations started on 5th March 2013. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for CIVIL Services Prelims exam before 4th April 2013.
Application Process:
Candidates are required to apply Online by using the website http:// ww.upsconline.nic.in Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the above- mentioned website. Brief Instructions for filling up the “Online Application Form” given in Appendix-II.
Last Date to apply for UPSC Civils Preliminary Examination 2013:
The online Applications can be filled up to of 4th April, 2013 till 11.59 PM after which the link will be disabled.
The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-admission Certificate three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-admission Certificate will be made available in the UPSC official website for downloading by candidates. No physical admission Card will be sent by post.
