J&K SET Exam 2013 | Apply Online at www.kashmiruniversity.ac.in: Jammu and Kashmir State Eligibility Test 2013 is conducted by the Kashmir University for the selection of candidates for the post of Lecturer in universities and colleges of Jammu & Kashmir.
The SET dept conducts this exam for 36 subjects listed under at 2 (two) Centers of Srinagar and Jammu.
Eligibility Criteria:
a) Candidates must possess Master's degree with minimum 55% (50% marks in case of SC / ST / PWD (Persons with disability) category candidates) or equivalent examination from universities / institutions recognized by UGC in Sciences, Humanities (including languages) and Social Science etc
b) Candidates who are waiting for their result oe will be appearing for the final year exam may also apply for this SET 2013 on condition they need to complete their PG degree examination within two years from
the date of SET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.
c)The PhD degree holders whose Master's level examination had been completed by 19th September, 1991 (irrespective of date of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks (i.e., from 55% to 50%)
Application Fee:
Candidates under General category need to pay Rs. 800, OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates: Rs. 500/- and SC / ST / PWD candidates: Rs. 400/-.
Candidates need to fill bank receipt in three copies (Bank Copy, SET Copy & Candidate's Copy). All the three copies of the receipt have to be submitted in any branch of Jammu & Kashmir Bank along with the bank charges of Rs. 10/-. The bank will retain its copy and return the other two copies of the receipt to the candidate. The candidate has to attach the SET copy of the receipt with the printout of online Application Form which he / she has to submit at the SET coordination center of University of Kashmir / Jammu opted by the candidate.

Last date to pay fee is 17th june 2013. The candidates should send the following documents with printout on separate A-4 size papers of their Online Application Form (one copy): i) Copy of Bank Receipt (SET Cell copy). ii) Attested copies of SC / ST / Persons with Disability (PWD) / OBC (Non creamy layer) certificates, in case applicable
