WBUT Notification 2013 | CET, PGET, JEMAT 2013 at www.wbut.ac.in: West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT), Kolkata has issued notification for conducting Common Entrance Test (CET), Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGET) and Joint Entrance management Aptitude Test (JEMAT).
Common Entrance Test - CET 2013
Eligibility Criteria:
For UG Courses candidates must have cleared 10+2 General or Vocational Stream from any recognised Board with pass marks in each of the main subjects.
For PG Courses candidates must have cleared Honours Degree from any UGC recognised University.
Application Fees:
Candidates need to submit the application form along with a DD of Rs.400/( Rs.200/for SC & ST candidates of WB) drawn in favour of ' WBUT - CET' from any nationalised bank payable at Kolkata. Forms that have been downloaded from the website should be submitted along with a DD of Rs.700/( Rs.350/for SC & ST candidates of WB) drawn in favour of ' WBUT - CET' from any nationalised bank payable at Kolkata. Post Graduate Entrance Examination - (PGET) 2013
Eligibility Criteria:
For M.Tech/M.Pharm Courses : Candidates must possess a relevant AICTE recognised Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Pharmacy or MCA or a relevant MSc degree or in any final year of such programmes.
Note: Candidates who got qualified in GATE/GPAT are exempted from Entrance test but will have to submit the application form along with requisite fee and supporting documents.
Application Fee:
Candidates need to submit the application form along with DD of Rs.500/( Rs.250/for SC & ST candidates of WB) drawn in favour of ' WBUT - PGET' from any nationalised bank payable at Kolkata. Forms that have been downloaded from the website should be submitted along with a DD of Rs.800/( Rs.400/for SC & ST candidates of WB) drawn in favour of ' WBUT - PGET' from any nationalised bank payable at Kolkata. Successful candidates have to pay Rs.300/for PI & Counseling by DD drawn in favour of 'WBUT- PGET' from any nationalised bank payable at Kolkata.
Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test - (JEMAT) 2013
Eligibility Criteria:
For admission to MBA Courses candidates should have minimum qualification to take admission to MBA/MMA/MHA/AICTE approved PG Diploma programmes is a Bachelors Degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Engineering/ Technology/ Medical/ Dental/ Agriculture orther Professional Courses from recognised Universities. The candidates who will appear in final Examination (Graduation) may also apply.
Application Fee:
Candidates need to submit the application form along with a DD of Rs. 500/( Rs.250/for SC & ST candidates of WB) drawn in favour of ' WBUT - JEMAT' from any nationalised bank payable at Kolkata. Forms that have been downloaded from the website should be submitted along with a DD of Rs.800/( Rs.400/for SC & ST candidates of WB) drawn in favour of ' WBUT - JEMAT' from any nationalised bank payable at Kolkata. Successful candidates have to pay Rs.600/for GD/PI & Counseling by DD drawn in favour of 'WBUT - JEMAT' from any nationalised bank payable at Kolkata.
Application Process:
Eligible and Interested candidates shall have to apply in the prescribed form attached with the Brochure which is available till 14th June, 2013 from the Indian Bank, WBUT Branch (between 11a.m - 4p.m.) and also from Affiliated colleges & institutes on all weekdays on payment of Rs.300/(Rs.150/for SC & ST candidates of West Bengal only) in cash. This form can also be downloaded from university website.
